The Character and Fitness Committee of the Utah State Bar will conduct a background investigation on every Applicant for admission to the Bar.

Fees and Filing Deadlines

The Application, with all forms and applicable supplementary documentation, must be received by the Bar by close of business on the appropriate filing deadline.

About the Bar Exam

The Utah Bar examination is a two-day examination, consisting of a one-day written component and a one-day Multistate Bar Examination ("MBE") component.

Limited Admission

Applicants for limited admission complete the same character and fitness application process as other applicants, but they do not have to sit for the Bar Examination.
